These scholarships provide financial support to students connected to Sacramento County agriculture. Each award has specific eligibility criteria and selection factors—such as financial need, academic performance, leadership, career objectives, and community involvement—listed below. 1) Ag Employee Scholarship
Purpose
To assist students whose parent or guardian is employed (but not owner/operator) in production agriculture within Sacramento County. Awards are determined by financial need, scholastic performance, leadership, and community participation. This scholarship is not intended for children of farm owners or owners of agriculture-related businesses; those applicants should apply for the Scholastic Scholarship.

Eligibility
- High school senior planning to enroll in a two- or four-year accredited college or university.
- One parent or guardian must be a non-owner/operator employed in production agriculture in Sacramento County (not a farm or ag-business owner).
- Enrolled for at least twelve (12) academic units during the semester or quarter in the year the award is granted.
- Continued receipt of the award requires maintaining at least twelve (12) academic units and a minimum 2.0 GPA.

2) Career Technical Scholarship
Purpose
For students pursuing technical careers tied to agriculture or food industries. Eligible fields include, but are not limited to: Baking and Pastry, Culinary Arts, Culinary Management, Diesel, Heavy Equipment, Veterinary Technology, Welding, etc. Selection is based on engagement in the chosen technical field (including ROP or work experience), stated career goals, and agricultural and community involvement.

Eligibility
- Current or former students of Sacramento County schools, or students with permanent residence in Sacramento County.
- Intending to pursue, or currently pursuing, a career in technical education relevant to agriculture/food industries.

- To receive the award, you must enroll in a career technical school of your choice.

3) Scholastic Scholarship
Purpose
Awarded based on academic achievement, leadership experience, career aspirations, and involvement in agricultural and community activities.

Eligibility
- Current or former students of Sacramento County schools, or students who maintain permanent residence in Sacramento County.
- Planning to pursue, or currently pursuing, post-secondary education in an agriculture-related field.
- Enrolled in at least twelve (12) academic units during the semester or quarter in the award year.

4) Young Farmers & Ranchers Scholarship
Purpose
This award likewise evaluates scholastic achievement, leadership experience, career goals, and agricultural and community engagement.

- Planning to pursue, or currently pursuing, post-secondary education related to agriculture.
- Enrolled in at least twelve (12) academic units during the semester or quarter in the award year.
