Eligibility
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- The applicant or at least one parent was born in the Republic of India.
- The applicant is a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder).
- The applicant intends to enroll full-time in an accredited, non-profit institution — either a four-year university or a two-year community college — in the FALL term of the scholarship year.
- The family’s Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) reported on IRS Form 1040 for the prior tax year is under $125,000.
- The applicant is a current U.S.-resident high school senior and has a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

The selection process is competitive. Complete the application carefully and accurately, and devote particular attention to the essay responses — they provide the best insight into your background, goals, and aspirations. Submit your application before the posted deadline.

All applications are treated with the highest level of confidentiality. Any applicant-specific information will remain within the scholarship committee and will not be disclosed outside that group.
