Community Council of Idaho is offering a one-time scholarship award of $1,000 to nine students. The scholarship is intended for low-income high school seniors or Idaho residents who will be entering college for the first time.
Eligibility
- Open to low-income high school students or first-time, college-bound Idahoans.
- Nine recipients will each receive a single $1,000 award.
Essay prompt
Write a one-page essay describing your educational and career objectives. Explain what motivates your choice of career, how you arrived at that decision, and any experiences that shaped your path. Include information about current community involvement and describe how you plan to remain engaged in your community going forward.
Required application materials
- Completed application form
- Three letters of recommendation
- Copy of high school transcript
- One-page personal statement or essay (see prompt above)
- 2025 tax return(s)
