Scholarship terms and award process
- Scholarships are granted annually and are not automatically renewed. Students must reapply each year to be considered.
- Awards may be made for up to four years for undergraduate study and up to three years for graduate study.
- The selection committee may award one or more scholarships each year, at its discretion, and determines award amounts based on demonstrated financial need and academic achievement. The committee may also choose to award no scholarships in a given year.
- Recipients must be enrolled full time in a degree program at the time of the award.
- Award amounts range from a minimum of $500 to a maximum of $2,500.
- Funds are paid directly to the recipient’s school at the start of the term/semester for which the scholarship is given, but only after Provision receives written verification of enrollment via email to scholarships@provision.org. One-half of the award is released for the fall term and the remaining half for the spring term.
