Morgan McGee Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Epilepsy Foundation Idaho
Introduction
The Morgan McGee Scholarship Fund was created to honor Morgan’s memory and to support Idaho students living with epilepsy as they pursue further education and personal growth. This award is available to high school seniors and college students who have epilepsy and who are either enrolled in or planning to attend a higher education program in Idaho. Applicants pursuing degrees or certificates at universities, trade schools, vocational programs, or technical institutes in Idaho are all eligible.
Deadline
Applications are open now and must be fully completed and submitted by June 12, 2026. All required materials must be included by that date to be considered.
Who is eligible
- Have a diagnosis of epilepsy.
- Be a resident of Idaho.
- Be planning to attend or already attending a college, university, trade, vocational, or technical school located in Idaho.
- Not have previously received the Morgan McGee Scholarship.
Award information
- Four (4) scholarships will be awarded, each worth $2,000.
- Winners will be notified by a representative of The Epilepsy Foundation of Idaho by email or phone.
- Applications must be submitted no later than June 12, 2026.
Application checklist (all items required)
Before beginning your application, be prepared to submit the following:
- A 500–700 word essay describing your experience living with epilepsy.
- A signed letter of support from your physician.
- A signed letter of support from a teacher or school advisor.
- A copy of your transcript (an unofficial transcript is acceptable for the initial review).
- A copy of your acceptance letter or confirmation of enrollment at the Idaho institution.
- A recent photograph.
