Introduction
Staver Accident Injury Lawyers, P.C. is pleased to offer its annual Personal Injury Scholarship. Each day our Chicago team assists people injured in car crashes and other personal injury incidents who are facing medical bills and life disruptions. This scholarship is intended to support a student whose essay reflects an understanding of the legal work we do and an appreciation for its role in helping injured people and improving safety.
Award and Deadline
- Scholarship amount: $5,000 toward educational expenses.
- Application deadline: May 1st, 2026.
- Winner notification: the selected recipient will be contacted by email on May 31, 2026.
Eligibility
To qualify for the Staver Accident Injury Lawyers, P.C. Personal Injury Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
- Be accepted to or currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or graduate program in the United States.
- Hold a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Applicants should also show evidence of good character and persevering motivation in the face of challenges.
Application requirements
To be considered by Staver’s Chicago personal injury team, applicants must submit:
- A completed application form.
- A current transcript from high school, college, or graduate school (unofficial copies are acceptable).
- A typed essay (300–500 words) that addresses how personal injury attorneys lead or contribute to safety initiatives by assisting injured people, and how you personally would promote safety for yourself and your community in daily life.
Award disbursement and use
The $5,000 scholarship must be used for tuition or other qualifying education-related costs. Payment will be issued as a check made payable directly to the recipient’s educational institution. Recipients will be expected to provide receipts as needed to comply with IRS requirements.
