Overview and Timeline - The 2025–2026 application cycle is now open. We plan to finish reviewing submitted applications and begin scheduling interviews in March 2026. Applicants who are not advanced to the interview stage will be notified by the Foundation by mid‑April 2026. - Application deadline: February 1, 2026. Who Should Apply (General Eligibility) - The Foundation seeks motivated applicants who currently live in the United States and who are applying to — or already enrolled at — an accredited U.S. four‑year college or university. - Scholarship awards are conditional upon acceptance to the specific U.S. four‑year institution named in the grant letter, and upon the return of a signed scholarship grant letter and the applicant’s pledge to the Foundation. Selection Criteria - Applications are evaluated for alignment with the Foundation’s values, academic performance in high school, demonstrated leadership and community service, strength of letters of recommendation, and the applicant’s commitment to honor the Foundation pledge. Number of Awards - A minimum of two scholarships will be granted for the 2025–26 academic year. Residency and Immigration Notes - Applicants must be residing in the United States and the college or university they attend must be in the United States. - The Foundation does not provide immigration assistance and is not responsible for securing visas or other immigration documents. The Foundation also assumes no liability for any tax implications related to scholarship awards. Maintaining an Award - To remain eligible for continued funding, scholars must submit proof of full‑time enrollment each semester and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. Application Requirements (Checklist) - Minimum GPA: 3.7 unweighted (4.0 weighted) - Current official transcript from the student’s school - Agreement to the 1 for 2 Education Foundation Pledge - Fully completed application - Must be living in the United States (U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is not required) - The chosen college or university must be located in the United States - If invited to interview: provide two letters of recommendation - If awarded a scholarship: attend the Foundation’s annual scholar retreat while receiving the award If you have questions about eligibility or the application process, please contact the Foundation for clarification before submitting.
