Great Clips is committed to supporting the future of the hair industry and is delighted to provide over $100,000 in scholarships annually for aspiring cosmetologists and barbers. This scholarship initiative is a tribute to Alice Madden Barton, a dedicated franchisee of Great Clips for many years. We invite budding stylists and barbers from the United States and Canada to apply for a scholarship that could cover up to $5,000 of their cosmetology or barber school tuition, helping them to kickstart their dreams.
Key Dates:
The application period for the Spring cosmetology or barbering scholarship runs from September 2 to March 1. Successful applicants will be informed no later than April 30.
The application period for the Fall cosmetology or barbering scholarship runs from March 2 to September 1. Successful applicants will be informed no later than October 31.
If you are fortunate enough to be chosen for a scholarship, a representative from Great Clips, Inc. will get in touch with you. If you are not selected during one award period, you are welcome to reapply for the next period, provided you continue to meet the eligibility criteria.
