Introduction
AANA Foundation resident scholarships are open to nurse anesthesia residents who are AANA members and are currently enrolled in an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
Eligibility and award summary
In FY25 the Foundation received 386 competitive scholarship applications and granted 94 scholarships totaling $278,250. You can download the FY25 list of scholarship recipients and sponsors. Applicants must be enrolled in good standing at their program and must satisfy any specific eligibility conditions listed for each scholarship. Preference is given to residents who have not previously received a Foundation scholarship. Only residents who will graduate after March 1, 2026 are eligible to apply.
Application process and requirements
All applications must be submitted online. Before beginning your application, carefully read all instructions provided above. Review the 2026 scholarships’ criteria. Note: scholarships identified as Financial Need Based require applicants to choose the financial-need version of the application to be considered for those awards. Do not delay submitting your application.
