For graduating high school seniors or current undergraduate college students attending or planning to attend a public or private, two- or four-year college or university in the state of Idaho and majoring or planning to major in Fire Ecology or Auto Mechanics. Or for any student who is also a current Wildland Firefighter majoring in any subject. Deadline is March 15.
Who Can Apply?
- Graduating high school seniors or current undergraduate college students;
- Attending or planning to attend a public or private, two- or fouryear college or university in the state of Idaho as a full-time undergraduate student;
- Majoring or planning to major in Fire Ecology or Auto Mechanics; OR any student who is also a current Wildland Firefighter majoring in any subject;
- Minimum 2.5 GPA.
Required Application Materials
- Copy of your most recent unofficial high school transcript or college transcript
- A written statement (1-3 pages in length) describing the following:
- Educational, career goals and objectives;
- Extra-curricular activities, volunteerism, awards, honors, and/or offices held;
- Work experience and if you plan to work while attending college;
- Why you should be selected for this scholarship.

- Complete pages 1 & 2 of this application and attach the Required Application Materials listed above.
- Combine ALL materials into a single PDF attachment. Google docs will not be accepted.
- Email completed PDF applications to scholarships@idahocf.org no later than 11:59pm MST on March 15th. Late/Incomplete applications will not be considered.
