Armenian American Medical Society Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Armenian American Medical Society
The Armenian American Medical Society is thrilled to announce that it is now welcoming applications for its 2025-2026 academic year scholarships!
Every year, the AAMS presents scholarships to eligible Armenian students who are pursuing their education in healthcare-related fields at an accredited institution in the United States. These fields include medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing, mental health, physician assistant, and other professional healthcare disciplines.
To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
- They must be of Armenian heritage or have a particular interest in medical issues related to the Armenian community.
- They must be actively participating in community service activities that contribute to the health and wellness of our community.
- They must submit a fully completed application package by the deadline of September 7, 2025.
The Armenian American Medical Society is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals who will be instrumental in enhancing the health and wellness of our community. Since 2009, the AAMS has awarded 113 scholarships to deserving Armenian-American students across the United States. These scholarships are given to students enrolled in a variety of healthcare education programs, including medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, mental health, and allied health.
We are excited to announce that this year, we will once again be offering individual scholarships of $5,000, based on either financial need or academic excellence. These scholarships are designed to support students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance, exceptional merit, or who require financial assistance to achieve their educational goals.
