Our scholarship initiative is crafted to empower, enlighten, and motivate the forthcoming leaders and professionals who hold the potential to shape the future. We offer three distinct scholarship categories to assist you in fulfilling your educational aspirations.
Indigenous Peoples
We are dedicated to fostering mutually advantageous relationships with the Indigenous communities of Canada. In line with this commitment, we provide scholarships to Indigenous students to enhance their expertise and understanding in the renewable energy sector. Each scholarship can be up to $3,000.
Community Leaders
The foundation of robust communities is built on the efforts of many individuals. This scholarship is granted to students who exhibit a dedication to contributing to their community and improving the world for their generation and those that follow. Each scholarship can be up to $3,000.
Renewable Energy Trades
We are devoted to promoting the renewable energy sector and backing the proficient workers who will pave the path forward. This scholarship is granted to students enrolled in a renewable energy trades program. Each scholarship can be up to $3,000.
Review Process for Applications
Our selection committee evaluates applications based on your need for financial assistance, academic excellence, community engagement, pursuit of studies that could be applicable to the renewable energy sector and/or environmental stewardship, and proximity to the locations where we reside, work, operate, or have development projects.
Criteria for Eligibility
- Residency in Canada or the United States
- Enrollment in full-time studies at an accredited Canadian or United States trades or technical school, college or university
- Students pursuing masters and doctorate degrees are not eligible for this scholarship
- Indigenous Peoples Scholarship only: Membership in an Aboriginal community (band or settlement), including First Nations, Metis and Inuit; and evidence of Aboriginal Status
- Renewable Energy Trades Scholarship only: Enrollment in a renewable energy trades program with a direct emphasis on wind, hydro or solar energy at an accredited trades or technical school, college and university
