Stand Up to Distracted Driving Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Kanoski Bresney
Distracted driving — particularly from texting and other cellphone use — contributes to hundreds of thousands of crashes and injuries in the United States every year. Young drivers, including teenagers and young adults, are disproportionately involved in and affected by these incidents; teens in particular face a higher likelihood of being injured in distracted driving collisions.
Kanoski Bresney aims to encourage students who take a stand against distracted driving. Through the Kanoski Bresney Stand Up to Distracted Driving Scholarship, the firm will award five individual scholarships of $1,000 each to students in the United States who are pursuing postsecondary education at the undergraduate or graduate level.
