Overview
The WISE (Women in STEM Excel) Scholarship was established by Dr. Alexander Sobel to promote, support, and uplift women in Washington who are pursuing studies in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. One recipient will receive a $3,500 award to help advance their STEM education and career goals.
Use of the Award
The $3,500 scholarship is intended to offset educational costs and may be applied to tuition and other school-related expenses such as textbooks, supplies (paper, pens, notebooks, etc.), required technology, on-campus meals, housing, and transportation.
