Julie Enberg Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation
Julie Enberg Memorial Scholarship Fund
Overview
The Julie Enberg Memorial Scholarship offers financial support to female undergraduate athletes enrolled at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Created in memory of Julie Enberg—an early leader, player and coach for UMD women’s hockey before it became a varsity sport—the fund recognizes her devotion to athletics and to the UMD community. Julie passed away in 2002 at age 38, and this scholarship was established through memorial contributions.
