Kelly Law Autism Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Kelly Law Team
Introduction
The Kelly Law Team is pleased to sponsor an educational scholarship aimed at students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This initiative, which the firm has supported since 2015, will be awarded for the sixth time. The scholarship amount is $1,000 and will be paid directly toward the winner’s tuition at a post-secondary school selected by the recipient. Eligible institutions include colleges, graduate programs, trade or vocational schools, and junior colleges.
Purpose
We recognize that individuals with ASD frequently encounter barriers—particularly in communication—that can affect access to higher education. By offering this scholarship, the Kelly Law Team hopes to encourage and support applicants with autism who wish to continue their education after high school and pursue their long-term career and academic goals.
Who may apply
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be citizens of the United States;
- Have a diagnosis of autism (ASD); and
- Intend to pursue education beyond the secondary (high school) level.
Applicants do not need to be enrolled in a program at the time they apply. The firm may request documentation to confirm an ASD diagnosis.
Application requirements and deadline
Complete the application form and submit it so that it is received on or before December 19, 2025. Your submission must include a short statement (about 100 words) explaining how continuing your education will advance your anticipated career objectives. You may also include an optional second statement describing how autism has affected your educational path to date.
Selection and award
The Kelly Law Team will announce the scholarship recipient no later than January 9, 2026. The firm retains sole discretion in choosing the winner. The $1,000 award will be issued as a direct payment toward the winner’s tuition at the chosen post-secondary institution.
