ANTHC Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium
Each year the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) provides ten $5,000 scholarships to Alaska Native and/or American Indian students from across Alaska who are pursuing careers in health care. The program’s purpose is to help grow the number of Alaska Native and American Indian professionals working in the health sector. Awards may be applied toward tuition, room and board, books, and related fees.

Who is eligible
- Alaska Native and/or American Indian
- Permanent resident of Alaska
- Interested in a health care–related career
- Enrolled full-time in higher education (Associate, Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D. programs)
Required application materials
Before starting your application, gather the following documents:
1. Proof of Alaska Native and/or American Indian eligibility
2. Proof of Alaska residency
3. Personal statement
4. Current professional resume
5. Letter of acceptance or verification of current enrollment
6. Two letters of recommendation
7. Official transcript
Application timeline and how to apply
The annual application period opens each spring and is available during the month of March. Applicants may submit materials online or send them by mail.
