The IPAS Annual Scholarships are granted to meritorious students who are currently enrolled in a recognized in-state Physician Assistant Program. The scholarships are awarded based on a set of specific selection criteria.

Each applicant's submission is evaluated based on a range of criteria. A point system is employed to determine the five scholarship recipients after the Scholarship Committee has thoroughly reviewed all applications.

• Applicants should be actively enrolled in a recognized in-state Physician Assistant Program.
• Applicants should have an exceptional academic record from their undergraduate studies.
• Applicants should exhibit strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of the Physician Assistant concept, and maintain a high level of professionalism.

The application for the scholarship should include:

• A fully filled out scholarship application form
• A photocopy of the official transcript(s) from the applicant's previous college/university.
• A one-page narrative that includes any additional information the applicant believes will assist the committee in making their decision.
• The applications are assessed based on the following categories:
• Leadership skills
• Participation in school and community activities
• Prior medical experience, training, and community involvement
• Academic Achievement
• Transcripts, GPA, and previous degrees

Understanding of the PA Concept

• Drive, motivation, and commitment to the profession
• Active participation in student, civic, and professional organizations

The IPAS Annual Scholarships are granted to deserving students who are currently enrolled in a recognized in-state Physician Assistant Program. The scholarship amount is $1,000 and is awarded based on specific selection criteria.

The applications are evaluated based on a set of criteria. A point system is used to award the three scholarships after the Scholarship Committee has reviewed all applications.

• Applicants should be actively enrolled in a recognized in-state Physician Assistant Program.
• Applicants should have an exceptional academic record from their undergraduate studies.
• Applicants should exhibit strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of the Physician Assistant concept, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
• The scholarship funds can be used by the recipients in any way they deem fit.
• The application for the scholarship should include:
