Ag Wings of Tomorrow
Scholarship Sponsored by National Agricultural Aviation Association
With the generous contributions from BASF, Thrush Aircraft, and Turbine Conversions Ltd., the 2025 NAAA “Ag Wings of Tomorrow” Scholarship program is offering $25,000 in financial assistance. This aid is intended to support future agricultural pilots in their educational pursuits. The program will grant up to five scholarships, each worth $5,000, to deserving and eligible students. These funds can be used for flight training or for studying aviation or agriculture-related subjects at a university, college, community college, or other higher education institution.
Objective
The primary goal of this scholarship is to encourage new pilots to enter the field of Agricultural Aviation and provide financial support for their training. The scholarship funds can be used for flight training or for studying aviation or agriculture-related subjects at a university, college, community college, or other higher education institution.
Value
The NAAA Ag Wings of Tomorrow Scholarship program will provide up to five (5) one-year scholarships to deserving and eligible students who are participating in one or more of the following programs:
- A flight training program
- An NAAA Operator-sponsored flight-training apprentice program
- An aviation or aviation vocational program for second-year or later students enrolled in a U.S. 2-year or 4-year accredited junior college, college, or university program.
- An agriculture, agribusiness, or ag vocation program for second-year or later students enrolled in a U.S. 2-year or 4-year accredited junior college, college, or university program.
The $5,000 scholarships are designed to support future agricultural pilots in their training endeavors. Scholarships are granted based on the merits of the application. The NAAA reserves the right to withhold any of the scholarships if the applicant pool does not meet the required standards. Each applicant can only receive one award. All funds are in U.S. dollars.
Applicant Guidelines:
- Applicants must be sponsored by an NAAA Operator Member in the Operator dues category.
- Applicants can only apply for one NAAA pilot-training scholarship per year, either the NAAA Ag Wings of Tomorrow” Scholarship or the Charles Stokes Memorial Turbine Training Scholarship, but not both in the same year.
- Previous winners of the Ag Wings of Tomorrow or NAAA/BASF Agricultural Aviation Scholarship are not eligible to apply.
- Employees of NAAA, BASF, Thrush Aircraft, and Turbine Conversions Ltd., and their immediate family members, are not eligible to apply.
