QGenda - AACN Scholarship

Overview
QGenda has partnered with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) to fund a nursing student scholarship. One $5,000 award will be granted each cycle to a student enrolled at an AACN member school.
Who may apply (program-specific cycles)
- Entry-level baccalaureate students: eligible for the July award only.
- Accelerated baccalaureate and master’s students: eligible for the February award only.
- Master’s and doctoral students: eligible for the October award only.
Basic eligibility
- Currently enrolled in a baccalaureate, master’s, or doctoral nursing program at an AACN member institution.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
- U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
- Provide one academic or professional reference.
- Submit a short essay (up to 500 words) addressing either how you plan to make an impact as a nurse or describing a specific way a nurse has influenced you.
Application windows (deadlines)
- Cycle 1 (for the July award): applications open May 1 and close July 1.
- Cycle 2 (for the October award): applications open August 1 and close October 1.
- Cycle 3 (for the February award): applications open December 1 and close February 1.
Note: Only students in the program type specified for each award month are eligible to apply during that cycle.
