Ennes Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by Ennes Educational Foundation Trust
Introduction
Each year the Ennes Educational Foundation Trust awards scholarships to individuals pursuing careers in the technical side of broadcasting. Awards may be applied toward tuition, on-campus room and board, or required textbooks at accredited post-secondary schools, or toward other technical training programs that have been approved by the Scholarship Committee. While applicants who belong to SBE will receive preferential consideration, all otherwise qualified candidates — including graduating high school seniors — are welcome to apply.
Available scholarships
- John H. Battison SBE Founder’s Scholarship (open to all applicants)
- Harold E. Ennes Scholarship (open to all applicants)
- Robert D. Greenberg Scholarship (open to all applicants)
- Gino Ricciardelli Scholarship (open to all applicants)
- Youth Scholarship (reserved for graduating high school seniors)
Application and award information
To be considered, applicants must submit a completed application form. For 2026, the Trust expects to award up to five scholarships of $3,000 each, subject to the funds available. An individual may receive no more than one scholarship in any given year.
Post-award requirement
Recipients, at the conclusion of the Award Term (July 1 – June 30), will be required to produce a 400–500 word technical paper on a topic in broadcast engineering. These papers may be used for publication by SBE.
