Five scholarships of $4,000 each are available to graduating high school seniors. Awards are renewable annually for up to four years. Recipients must plan to enroll full-time as first-year students at any University of California (UC) or California State University (CSU) campus beginning in Fall 2026.

Advances in diagnosis and care have extended and improved many lives, but people with rare diseases still encounter barriers to reaching common life goals. To help address this, the EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases created the #RAREis Scholarship Fund to support adults with rare diseases in pursuing educational opportunities.

Recipients have attended community colleges, universities, vocational schools, and graduate programs.
